Spare parts sold the way a mechanic would want to buy them
Kingdom Auto Parts is a family-run parts house in the heart of Ghana's biggest spare parts market. We keep two things on the shelf and nothing else: genuine new components and quality used parts that have been inspected, bench-tested and graded before they are listed. No "home-service" surprises, no repainted scrap sold as new.
45 genuine new · 20 quality used · every one photographed and condition-stamped before it goes online.
Twelve years on the same stretch of road
Kingdom Auto Parts opened in 2014 with a single container at Abossey Okai, the spare parts market on the Accra–Winneba road where virtually every bolt that keeps Ghana moving changes hands. Our founder, Daniel Owusu, had spent the previous eight years buying for a fleet of trotro and taxi operators, and he knew the one thing that frustrated drivers more than price: never being certain what they were actually buying.
That is the problem the business was built to solve. In this market a "new" part can mean a factory-sealed genuine component, an OEM aftermarket part, or a used item wiped down and bagged in fresh plastic. We decided early that our listings would say exactly which of the two we were selling — genuine new or quality used — and that the price would follow honestly from that. A used Denso alternator that has been bench-tested costs less than a sealed new one, and we would rather show you both than pretend one is the other.
Today the company runs a bonded store off the market road, a two-bay inspection workshop where every used component is checked before it is graded, and a delivery desk that ships to all sixteen regions. We still buy the same way Daniel did — in person, from importers and breakers we have known for years — which is why we can stand behind the condition of a part we did not manufacture.
Six promises we actually keep
Buying a spare part in Ghana is usually an act of faith. These are the commitments that make ours a transaction instead.
Genuine Condition Guarantee
Every listing is stamped either GENUINE NEW or QUALITY USED. If a part arrives and it is not what the listing said, we replace it or refund you in full — no argument, no restocking fee.
VIN / OEM Matched Parts
Give us your chassis number and we confirm the exact OEM reference before dispatch. Fitment mistakes are the most expensive part of buying spares online, so we remove them.
Nationwide Delivery
Same-day dispatch inside Greater Accra, next-day to Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Ho and Sunyani, and 48 hours to the northern regions through our couriers.
Tested Used Parts
Nothing used is sold untested. Alternators go on the bench, injectors are flow-checked, electronics are powered up, and anything that fails is scrapped rather than discounted.
WhatsApp Ordering
Send a photo of the old part or the OEM code to 020 867 3121 and a real parts person replies with price, condition and availability — usually within the hour.
Trade Prices for Workshops
Garages, fleet operators and resellers get a trade account with tiered pricing, 7-day credit terms on approved orders and a dedicated account line.
How we grade our used parts
"Used" is not a grade, it is a starting point. Every second-hand component that enters our store moves through three stages, and a part that fails any one of them is scrapped — it is never quietly dropped into a bargain bin.
The part is stripped, cleaned and checked against the OEM reference. We look for cracks, corrosion, wear beyond tolerance, heat damage and missing fasteners. Anything that fails here never reaches the bench.
Electrical components are load-tested, rotating parts are spun for run-out and noise, hydraulic parts are pressure-checked, and body panels are trial-fitted where the jig allows. We record the reading on the stock card.
Passing parts are graded A (near-new, minimal wear) or B (serviceable, honest wear). The grade, the test result and the source vehicle go into the listing so you can see exactly what you are buying.
Two bays, a bench tester and a rule we do not bend
Behind the store is where the reputation is actually earned. A used part arrives from a breaker in Accra or a container out of Dubai, and it goes straight to the inspection bay rather than the shelf. It is steam-cleaned, its OEM number is read off the casting or the label, and it is measured or powered up depending on what it is.
Only then does it get photographed under the same lighting as our new stock, listed with its grade and test result, and priced. It takes longer than walking the part straight to the counter, and it costs us parts we have to write off — but it is the reason a workshop in Tamale can order a used fuel pump on WhatsApp on a Tuesday and fit it on a Thursday without calling us back.
Ask for us by name
When you call or send a WhatsApp, one of these three picks up. There is no call centre and no script — just people who have spent years in the market.
Daniel Owusu
Buys the stock personally and signs off every trade account. Twelve years sourcing for commercial fleets.
Grace Appiah
Runs dispatch and the courier network. If your order is late, Grace is the one chasing it.
Emmanuel Tetteh
Owns the grading bench. Every used part on this site has passed across his hands.
